State Mourning to be observed in memory of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

            The Consulate General of India in Sittwe announces with profound sorrow the death of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India on August 16, 2018 at New Delhi.

2.         As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, seven days of state mourning will be observed at the Consulate at Sittwe from August 16, 2018 to August 22, 2018 both days inclusive.

3.         A condolence book for the departed dignitary will be kept open on August 20 and August 21, 2018 at the Consulate General of India, Sittwe.
